Volunteer Spotlight - Linda Ganz
Linda Ganz began volunteering with Helpmate in April 2010 and has been a terrific help to us since she went through an initial reception orientation. Linda is a retired Family Therapist and was exposed to some domestic violence situations through her work.
She has been concerned about issues that impact women and children for a long time and was enthusiastic about assisting our organization. As a Volunteer Receptionist, Linda has been a consistent and reliable presence every Wednesday afternoon. She is always eager to help us with administrative tasks and we can always count on her to assist us with filing, bulk mailings, shredding old records, and other clerical functions that arise from time to time. Linda also helps out with door traffic and she greets our counseling clients and shelter residents with a smile when they arrive. Linda has provided over 100 hours of volunteer service! We are grateful for her dependability, her warm heart, and her eagerness to help. Thank you Linda!
